The Anglican Parish of the Good
Shepherd is an amalgamation of St. Mark’s Emsdale,
St. Luke’s Kearnery, St. Paul’s
Sprucedale, St. Mary’s Novar and St. Mary’s Sand Lake
Anglican Churches. This amalgamation began over 10 years ago,
and was finally completed in 2007 when St. Mark’s Emsdale
was officially renamed ‘The Anglican Parish of the Good Shepherd’. The Parish building itself is the original
St. Mark’s Anglican Church with a recent retrofit and substantial addition.
